Whether we’re snap chatting friends, taking trendy photos in the Canadian wilderness, or looking for the next bus to get downtown, mobile applications have become a dominant tool in our everyday life.

Attend this workshop to learn how to develop mobile apps that’ll engage users. Make sure to bring your phone!

New to coding? Not a problem – we’ll get you started.

Saturday, May 26th, 2018 // 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Visit us to learn about what your microwave, computer and car all have in common.

We will explore and program an Arduino Uno, which is a microcontroller, used to control different hardware inputs and outputs. Microcontrollers can be used to build a robotic arm using servo motors, build an automatic drawbridge, or even an automated plant watering device.

Saturday, May 26th, 2018 // 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Whether you’re a future engineer or an aspiring artist, vector design and laser cutting will give you the skills to bring your ideas to life.

In this workshop, you’ll learn how to create vector design in Adobe Illustrator. We’ll also teach you to use a laser cutter to etch and cut a variety of materials. You will make a laser cut LED box to take away.
