This event is presented in partnership with Design Exchange.
This free public event on the subject of Art as a Digital Experience, will bring together artists, technologists and art critics to discuss how exponential technologies will impact the next 100 years of art, design and entertainment. Panelists will discuss the ways in which digital technology is radically transforming the art world.
Modes of creation, curation, commercialization and consumption of art are all changing rapidly thanks to social media, the Internet, 3d Printing, VR and other tech innovations.
Prior to the panel, visitors can take part in a free Augmented Reality Art Exhibit. The exhibit integrates augmented reality technology to allow viewers to digitally interact with physical artwork. An otherwise static piece of artwork is enhanced with flashing colours, moving objects and more. Come early!
