The Lassonde School of Engineering Futures Lab is happy to announce the first ever, interdisciplinary Maker Fair to be hosted at the Bergeron Centre for Engineering Excellence.
We invite students from the Fine Arts (Music) and all Lassonde students to participate on October 14, 2017 & October 15th, 2017. Food and beverages will be provided.
The Challenge:
Students from each faculty will team up to either build an existing instrument or to create a completely new instrument. Team will have both full days to design and plan their instrument and then to build.
Teams will have access to our 'Pantry' of building materials and tools as well as individual team workstations.
At the end of the Maker Fair teams will display their built instruments by playing a short piece of music, where others can see and hear the uniqueness of each piece.
